Layout out a 12" square document in Illustrator and/or InDesign. Add a 1" margin all around.
Divide the space inside the margin (the live area) into for quadrants using a .5 rule cross.
Designate the top of the matrix cross with the word Expression, the bottom with the word Information, the left side as Form, and the right side as Meaning.
Title the the matrix Typographic From & Meaning Matrix
Explore the world of good typographic design and find four explicit examples of each quadrant.
Have the final matrix posted on your blog by the end of class on Tuesday, March 10th.
